Sea

For those who want to surrender to the sound of the sea ...

Likya Beach Club

Our neighbours and sister hotel the Likya Gardens have invited our Guests to use the Likya Beach Club on a complimentary basis whilst resident at the Likya Pavilion. The beach club has a private area that operates solely for our Guests and those residents at the Likya Gardens, with restricted numbers and a great ambiance we hope you will unwind in peace. The beach club is conveniently situated a 5-minute stroll from the Pavilion, at the end of a single coastal track.

The beach club has a relaxed vibe and was recently refurbished for this season. There are plenty of platforms dressed with day beds, parasols and there is always a quiet corner for you to relax and unwind. Waiter service is available to your sun lounger so there is no need to move at all if you don’t wish to. Ladders lead from the platforms into the sea and there are showering and changing facilities available.

Likya Beach Club

The restaurant is open throughout the day and some evenings too. The menu includes sharing plates, light meals and main courses all of which are inspired by Turkish and Mediterranean flavours. The drinks menu is extensive catering for all, freshly squeezed seasonal juices, cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available.

Kalkan isn’t the most obvious beach resort. However, those in the know are aware there are a number of superb beaches and beach clubs serving those who long to relax by the sea…

Kalamar, Indigo, Zest, Palm, Mahal and Kalkan Park and more…

Beach clubs are dottedat intervals around the bay and cater for different audiences. Many offer a waiter-service to loungers and all feature platforms and decks tiered into the rock face with ladders into the sea.

Patara
Miles upon miles of soft golden sand sit west of Kalkan. This undeveloped and lengthly beach is also popular with the loggerhead turtles who use this site as a nesting spot. The area is rich with flora and fauna and has a nature reserve certification. For those interested in history, the evocative ruins of a once-fine city protrude from the sand dunes. Patara is so special that it’s regularly featured as one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful and undiscovered beaches. There is a small cafe on the beach serving refreshments, sunloungers and parasols can be rented and there are changing and showering facilities.
Kaputas
10 minutes east of Kalkan is Kaputaş Beach, one of the most photographed beaches in Turkey. The local Dolmus and taxis run regularly and it is no surprise as the illumious aqua-marine tones never fail to disappoint. Steep steps lead from the road down onto the pebbled beach below. Kaputas is extremely popular with the locals. There is a simple cafe on the beach and loungers and parasols are available to hire.
